Sea trout fishing in Helsinki region

1-5 persons / 690 eur

Many regard wild seatrout as the most valued fish in the Gulf of Finland. Definitely it is one of the most challenging opponent and catching one during a day is not for granted. However, within the last couple of years the seatrout population has been increasing in our fishing areas annually.

Hard fighting seatrout is a valued catch for any fisherman. During springtime you should seek seatrout in shallow bays where the fish find slightly warmer water due to the sunlight. The average size of a seatrout is almost one kilo but seatrout up to 2-3 kg are not uncommon.

Fall season for seatrout turns to its climax during November. You will find the fish by the outer banks of the last ilands before open sea as well as around submerged sea cliffs or rock structures. The best weather for seatrout is misty, almost rainy. If you want to hit the jackpot, charge to the seatrout waters after a couple stormy days - when wind is settling and blowing from the west.
