Fly fishing in Finland

Our internationally aknowledged fly fishing guides take you to the best fly fishing locations in Southern Finland. Salmon fishing is available in the Kymijoki river. Driving time to Kotka town and Kymijoki is only 1,5 hours. The river is famous for large salmon, averaging over 6 kg. The best fishing season for salmon is from August to the end of October. Kymijoki river has also a private pool that can be reserved exclusively for your group. You can fish from a boat that is handled by our guide or from a fishing pier. This private pool is probably the most secure place to catch a salmon in Finland.

Helsinki region holds a number of smaller scale river fishing destinations where you can fish for trout, grayling and rainbow trout. These locations can be reached by just 0.5 to 1 hour driving time from Helsinki. If you have more time, we can take you to a fly fishing trip to Central Finland or all the way up to Lapland.
